2. RMIT Research Repository
Officially launched on 9th April, the RMIT Research Repository is an
online open access database containing both detailed records and
electronic full text of peer-reviewed published articles, conference
papers, books, book chapters and other forms of research produced by
RMIT University staff.
The aims of the repository are to:
* Increase impact and exposure of RMIT University research
publications
* Facilitate and support collaboration between researchers
* Preserve and provide a central location for all RMIT Research
outputs
* Track interest in repository objects by providing view and download
statistics
To date, users from 134 countries have viewed records held in the
repository and have contributed to the 16,345 abstract views completed
so far. There are 2126 items currently in the repository.
Want to submit publications to the RMIT Research Repository? If you
have submitted publications for inclusion in the Higher Education
Research Data Collection (HERDC) then chances are, you already have.
These documents are automatically included in the RMIT Research
Repository and may only need full text objects added. Repository staff
will contact you if these are required.
