The U.S. Department of Agriculture is providing recommendations to those affected by dangerous winter storms, including snow and strong winds in the Midwest, temperatures below zero in the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley areas, low temperatures and snow in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern areas, and snow or freezing rain in the South.
